THE ADAPTIVE ARSENAL / UTAH, USA

AIR DEFENSE.BUILT INNUMBERS.

Ferrus Defense develops counter-UAS interceptors and the ordnance electronics inside them, and engineers the factory to build them in numbers.

STATUS: DEVELOPMENT STAGELINES: 04UTAH, USA
01 / THE PROBLEMWHY NOW

Jet-powered attack drones are getting faster, cheaper and more numerous. The interceptors that stop them are scarce, costly and slow to replace. The side that runs out of shots first loses the exchange.

COST EXCHANGE
A defense that costs far more than the threat cannot be sustained for long.
MAGAZINE DEPTH
Defenders need more shots on hand, and a way to replace them quickly.
PACE OF CHANGE
Threats change in months. The arsenal has to change on the same clock.
02 / THE ADAPTIVE ARSENALFOUR LINES, ONE SPINE

FOUR MISSIONS.ONE FOUNDATION.

The Adaptive Arsenal is a family of systems engineered on one common spine: shared airframes, avionics, software, interfaces and production methods. What one line proves, the next one inherits.

03 / QUANTITY

ONE IS A PROTOTYPE.THOUSANDS ARE A CAPABILITY.

Ferrus is designed around volume: focused scope, shared parts, production tooling from the first drawing, and a line built to change as fast as the threat does.

How we manufacture
04 / THE COMMON SPINEMODULAR OPEN SYSTEMS

ONE SPINE.EVERY PRODUCT.

Every Ferrus system is built on a modular open systems architecture. Avionics, software and interfaces are shared across the family, so each new product starts from the parts and data that came before it, not a blank page.

  • AIRFRAMES AND TOOLING: Common structures, and the tooling to make them at rate.
  • AVIONICS: One family of flight and mission electronics across every product.
  • FLIGHT AND MISSION SOFTWARE: One software base, built to improve with every flight of every product.
  • COMMON CANISTER INTERFACE: A standard mechanical and electrical interface for launch and integration.
  • UNIFIED TEST-DATA LOOP: Every test feeds one dataset that every product line learns from.
  • PRODUCTION AND SUPPORT: One line, one quality system, one support model.

05 / MANUFACTURINGTHE BACKBONE

THE FACTORYIS THE PRODUCT.

Manufacturing is the backbone of Ferrus. We design the line with the hardware, not after it, so cost, rate and quality are decided at the drawing instead of discovered on the floor.

DESIGN FOR PRODUCTION

Shared components, fewer unique parts, and tooling designed from the first drawing.

02

ORDNANCE ELECTRONICS

The subsystem where lethality and safety are decided. A core Ferrus discipline, brought in house as the capability matures.

03

U.S.-CONTROLLED SUPPLY

Domestic sources prioritized for major subsystems, with second sources planned before scale.

How we manufacture
06 / FIELD READINESSFULL LIFECYCLE

DELIVERY ISTHE BEGINNING.

Training, field support and repair are designed into every program from the first hardware. Ferrus will support everything it fields.

TRAIN

Operator and maintainer training built alongside the hardware.

FIELD

Engineers who go where the system is used.

SUPPORT

Spares, product data and a direct line to the team that designed it.

REPAIR

Field and depot repair pathways planned before first delivery.

LEARN

Field data returns to the design, the line and the next lot.

07 / LEADERSHIPFOUNDERS

BUILT BY PEOPLE WHO HAVESHIPPED WEAPONS BEFORE.

Zack Fava

CO-FOUNDER AND CEO

Zack leads Ferrus strategy and manufacturing. He spent fifteen years with the Department of the Navy taking weapons systems, telemetry and avionics from prototype to fleet delivery, and building the production capability behind them.

Levi Pike

CO-FOUNDER AND CTO

Levi leads engineering at Ferrus. He brings nearly a decade of counter-UAS and missile engineering in the defense industry, with a focus on guidance. He owns the Ferrus modular open systems architecture, the common spine that lets every product share the same avionics, software and interfaces.
